| Now there are fish stories, and then there are fish stories, but this one sounds a little too 'fishy' if you ask us. It seems that Jefferson's Junior Deacon, Brother Bob Hey is trying to convince us that he actually caught this hefty Small Mouth Bass already this year! We must admit that it looks real enough, and judging by the smile on Bob's face, we'll just have to give him the benifit of the doubt. All kidding aside, Congratulations Brother Bob! - Nice Fish! |

| Brothers all, please meet all five of Jefferson's brand new Master Masons. They are (Left to Right) as follows; Mark Moytka, David Schultz, Goran Misic, Albert Miller, III and Anthony Ciponaer. Each of these Brothers received their Master Mason Degree on Saturday, April 21st, 2012. Congratulations to each of you! |

Welcome to the Internet home of Jefferson Lodge #553. Our regular meeting is the first Thursday of every month. We meet the other Thursdays if there is work to do, if not, we are there for fellowship anyway. Come on down to the Temple and meet some of our new Brothers and listen to some of the more seasoned brothers share a wealth of knowledge and rich history of the fraternity. Jefferson Lodge was chartered in 1929, and has its own history of giving back to the community and promoting general good in society. We are always looking for men of good character who seek a way to give back and who want to make a difference in their community. To be a Mason all you have to do is ask a Mason. Knock on our door and it shall be opened unto you.
Our fraternity is flourishing with new members. At it's peak, Masonry had over 4 Million Brothers nationwide. Michigan today, has close to 40,000 Brothers, perhaps you know one. I invite you to come down and find out more about us and see why Masons live better.
